MY LIFE, MY INSPIRATION

I grew up as an only child, eldest of many cousins, a daughter of young parents and particularly of a young mother who fought for her life against cancer and survived. I was shaped by my family's need for me to be the model child, the care taker, and the good student that stayed out of trouble;

naturally instilling in me a sense of playing small, living in fear of disappointing (well...everyone), and having no choice but to strive to be perfect. 

Those circumstances were just the beginning of my journey to where I am now.

In my adulthood I faced pivotal moments in my education and career that challenged my self-worth.  My husband and I faced infertility which threatened my dream to be a mother.  I was diagnosed with cancer just as my miracle baby turned four months old and had to imagine my husband and son's life without me.  These were the TRANSFORMATIVE points in my life that kicked my coaching practice into gear.

I fully embrace and appreciate every heart wrenching moment that comes with the human experience.  I know that if I can survive and thrive through it all, I can help others do the same.
